Instructions for Assembling the Pistol
Grip
on an AR-15
Rifle
by Christopher Dooley
1)
Install detent, pointed end towards the selector. If you
do not do this correctly, the gun will backfire and blow off your
hand.
2)
Carefully compress
the spring with grip.
3)
Check the function
of the selector with the grip held in place. If the function isn’t
calibrated perfectly, your hand will be burned off your arm. If
you have a metal hook or a non-ceramic prosthesis, it will melt.
4)
Secure the grip in place
with a screw and either an up or down lock washer.
Note: As early as 30 years ago, the screw was believed to be
the essential building block of the rifle. Researchers now agree
that the lock washer is the base component of the rifle. In fact,
leading riflists assert that if the lock washer is isolated and
removed from the pistol grip of the AR-15 Rifle, the gun will backfire
and rip your hand from your wrist socket.
5)
If you still think the screw
is the essential building block of the rifle, you are living in
the dark ages and you know nothing about AR-15 Rifle Assembly.
6)
Test fire the gun at a remote
object. Should you lose a hand, repeat steps 1-5.
