Me Head

About Me Head

Me Head was a readable thing that was printed on paper between 2000 and 2002. As a printed document, it had a circulation of 10,000 issues and was distributed in Tulsa, Phoenix, Dallas, and Austin. There were six issues in all, plus numerous articles and posts that appeared online.

Michael Mason and Mathew Crouch created Me Head in 1999.

Jared Gilbert was the first and only Me Head intern. Me Head has published (print or online) such luminaries as Sarah Brown, Christopher Dooley, John Galusha, Shin Yu Pai, Kyle Banas, Meredith O., and Brian McCloskey.

Michael Mason's first non-fiction work, Head Cases: Stories of Brain Injury & Its Aftermath, will be published by Farrar, Strauss & Giroux in April 2008. The book is about the lives of brain injury survivors. Expect to see excerpts in periodicals prior to the book's release. Keep up with Michael Mason at www.michaelpaulmason.com

Matthew Crouch is a gainfully employed programmer now.

Sarah Brown's book, Cringe: Teenage Diaries, Journals, Notes, Letters, Poems, and Abandoned Rock Operas (Crown) will be released in 2008. Visit her at queserasera.org.
